Plumbing Calculator & Tools (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles, how it is used, and your choices.
1. Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data on our servers.
The app stores data locally on your device using Apple SwiftData, such as:
• Project names and descriptions
• Saved calculation inputs and results
• Optional notes you add to saved calculations
• App preferences (for example, color scheme and Face ID lock setting)
2. How Data Is Used
Local data is used only to provide core app functionality:
• Save and organize plumbing calculations into projects
• Display your saved work
• Generate shareable outputs (for example, PDF reports)
• Apply app settings and optional app lock behavior
3. Purchases and Subscriptions
The app offers subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit).
Purchase processing, billing, and subscription management are handled by Apple under your Apple ID. We do not receive your full payment credentials.
4. Biometric Authentication (Face ID)
If you enable app lock, Face ID / device authentication is used only to unlock the app on your device.
Biometric data is managed by Apple’s system APIs and is not accessed or stored by us.
5. Sharing Features
If you use export/share features (such as PDF export, share sheet, copy to clipboard, or support email), data is shared only when you choose to do so.
6. Third-Party Access
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs in the app.
If we ever add third-party services that access user data, we will update this policy before release.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Because data is stored locally on your device:
• You can delete projects and saved calculations at any time in the app.
• You can remove all app data by uninstalling the app.
• If you contact support by email, your email content is retained by your email provider and our support inbox according to those services’ retention practices.
8. Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
9. Your Choices
You can:
• Enable/disable Face ID lock in Settings
• Delete saved content in the app
• Choose whether to share data outside the app

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
